Moonlit Barbeque

moonlit eveningThe sun might not be shining, but as it’s the middle of British summertime it’s time to get out the BBQ! A BBQ might not sound romantic, but if you take some time to plan you can turn it into an incredibly romantic and sensual evening.

In this article I will show you how to turn an ordinary BBQ, into a wonderfully romantic Moonlit BBQ. For this romantic evening you will need:

  • BBQ, charcoal and BBQ lighters
  • Picnic blanket
  • Kebab sticks
  • Chicken or other meat
  • Vegetables
  • Salad
  • Fruit
  • BBQ sauce
  • Outdoor candles
  • Champagne (or sparkling wine)

moonlit bbqYou will need some time to setup the BBQ, so you will need to get rid of your girlfriend or wife for an hour or two. Remember that this is a Moonlit BBQ, so you will need to time it just right!

Whilst she is gone prepare the kebabs; meat and vegetable kebabs marinated in the BBQ sauce to cook on the BBQ and fruit kebabs to finish. I have selected kebabs, as they are quick and easy to make and GREAT to SHARE; this will leave you loads more time to spend with each other!

Now you need to prepare the garden; put the picnic blanket on the lawn and turn on the BBQ to heat the coals. Now spread the candles around the garden and light them to create a romantic ambience.

If you have flowers in the garden, you could pick some ready for when your partner arrives (or you could buy some beforehand if you don’t have much of a garden). You now just have to wait for your partner to arrive home!

When she arrives, give her the flowers, a chilled glass of champagne and lead her to the garden. Sit her down on the picnic blanket and enjoy your evening together.

As you enjoy your food and wine, you can gaze at the stars and whisper sweet nothings in her ear. She will be blown away by the effort that you have gone to for her!

Good luck with your romantic evening.

Romeo.
