Dining out is a very enjoyable thing that you and your partner can do together. Let’s admit it; we all love to eat calorific food, it always tastes nicer!

Deciding where to go will depend on a couple of things for instance, is it a first date or do you want to make a big impression! With some simple planning and organizing in advance you will be able to have the most romantic night of your life.

I have put together some suggestions of where to go for different occasions, so all you need to do is book the restaurant.

First Date

A first date can be very nerve racking and exciting at the same time, so having everything organized in advanced may help you feel a little bit more at ease.

Chinese would make a great choice for a first date, as you may not know what your dates likes and dislikes at this point, so keep it simple and tasty. Always go somewhere you have been before, so you know it has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.

Try a Chinese Banquet for two as this will give you both lots of choice and variety, the starter is normally soup followed by 5 or 6 different starters and you may get to choose a main each from a list of about 6 dishes served with rice. Remember to order a nice bottle of wine to go with your meal.

Remember to relax and enjoy yourself and everything else should fall into place.

Making a Big Impression

Now you have the first date under your belt and you are both are getting on really well, it’s now time for the WOW factor! Creating the WOW factor doesn’t have to be tricky if you do your research first before for you jump in.

Posh hotels offer great a La Carte Menu’s. Browse the internet for hotel menus / reviews and find somewhere with a stunning location. Countryside hotels offer great views of the surrounding area and often have an outside seating area so you can eat under the stars; a very seductive and romantic setting to have your meal.

Why not plan it with an over night stay and arrange for breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning. This would turn the perfect evening into a perfect weekend.

Meeting for Lunch

Now you know each other really well, we can maybe scale it down a little. Eating out doesn’t always have be a big fancy affair to be fun and enjoyable; meeting up for a casual lunch can just be as romantic if you choose wisely.

A country pub with home cooked food is one of my favourite places to go, as you can relax and enjoy some good pub grub. Try to find somewhere with an oldie worldly feel; wooden beams, brass ornaments on the walls and Toby jugs lining the shelves.

You will usually get a good selection on the Menu, all your favourite classics for you to choose from!

After lunch take a stroll in the countryside; enjoy the views and each others company. Your relationship will keep growing from strength to strength.

Four Little Words

You have been having so much fun with your new partner and you want to take things to the next level. These 4 little words (well not so little) “Will You Marry Me!” - may be your next step.

Planning is very important as you want everything to go well, so picking the right restaurant is the key to everything!

I recommend Italian, as this is the food of love! Italian music playing softly in the background and the candle light on the table, this has got to be the perfect place to ask your question.

Remember to check out the restaurant first. Maybe take your Mum or a female friend out for a meal first, to test the food and the ambience.

Order Champagne with your meal, as nothing else will do for this once in a lifetime occasion (hopefully), enjoy your evening and when the time is right, get down on one knee and ask “Will you do me the honor of been my wife?”.

Good Luck with your Romantic Dinner Ideas.
