Romantic Rose Surprise

Red roses have been a traditional romantic gift for many years and are a great way to tell your partner “I love you”.

To make the giving of these flowers more interesting, why not make the giving of roses into a fun and romantic game.

Playing the game is easy, all you need is:

• ½ dozen Red Roses *
• Ribbon
• Paper
• Pen

* Red roses mean “I love you”. A mixture of red and white roses, signify unity and togetherness, so you can send a mixture of the two if you prefer.

To start the game, wait until you partner is out of the home. You will need about 20 minutes to prepare, so wait until you know you will have enough time to complete the preparation.

The game is a treasure hunt and the prize at the end is you (you can also buy another gift as a prize, but this would be optional).

All you have to do to play the game is hide the roses around the home. Each rose will contain a clue to the next rose tied to the stem with a piece of ribbon (make sure your clues are easy to understand as the aim of the game is to find all the roses).

The first rose should be placed by the door that your partner will enter the home through. This rose will contain a clue to the next location. Your partner will then follow the trail of roses and find you waiting at the end.

A good place to end the romantic treasure trail is the bedroom where you can be waiting with the last rose. You could also have another surprise gift for your partner but I prefer to go for the shock factor (waiting on the bed, wearing only my birthday suit and a smile). Try it!

Other good surprises for the end of the treasure trail are:

• Sexy lingerie (she may even try it on for you, if you are lucky)
• Sparkling wine or champagne
• A romantic indoor picnic for two
