Romantic Trips - Edinburgh - Day 2

Welcome back to the Romantic City of Edinburgh (day 2 of our romantic weekend break). Today we are going to be visiting some of Edinburgh’s great locations for a wonderfully romantic end to the weekend.

Day 2
Enjoy a romantic breakfast together, to prepare you for the day ahead; breakfast in bed is the perfect start to the day!
Then get your walking shoes on for a trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens. It’s about a mile out of town, so catch a Taxis or Bus. With over 70 acres of stunning landscaped gardens, it is truly a peaceful haven to spend your day. Take the guided tour or stroll through the gardens hand-in-hand at your leisure.
Then have some lunch at the Terrace Cafe or a romantic picnic in the grounds.
After Lunch we are going to hit the shops; so you can treat her to a wonderfully romantic gift. How about some sensual lingerie or a new outfit for the evening! Spend some cash and treat her to something special. Edinburgh has plenty of shops to choose from; a Scottish memento from the “Royal Mile” perhaps or something more modern from the many designer shops and boutiques.
Romantic Evening
After all that shopping you will be ready to relax - drop the bags back at the hotel and head over to Leith Docks. You can explore the Royal Yacht Britannica and then enjoy one of the many excellent seafood restaurants or bars in the area.
If you prefer to end the weekend with something a little more special, the “Tower Restaurant” which sits above the Museum of Scotland is well worth a visit. It has beautiful views across the city and is often visited by A-List celebrities; you never know who you may bump into!
